The son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha has an elephantine countenance with a curved trunk and big ears, and a huge pot-bellied body of a human being. He is the Lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. He is also worshiped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth. This statue of Lord Ganesha makes a great housewarming or wedding gift. Measuring 4 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 2 7/8 inches deep, he looks great on mantels, tables, or nightstands. It's made of cold cast resin, but looks like polished teak wood.
